A new adventure begins

On the day a dragon devours the sun, twins will be born and war will cover the land again. After much blood has been shed, twin kings will reign anew.

The previous Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below sold more than one million copies. Its tremendously powerful battles, cinematic world, and Dragon Quest character that felt both new and familiar all evolve in this completely new adventure, Dragon Quest Heroes II.

The action RPG follows the heritage of the nationally beloved Dragon Quest role-playing series as a title celebrating its thirtieth anniversary. Alongside PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, it originally also comes to PlayStation Vita, with the long-awaited addition of multiplayer. Across eras and generations, the series enters new territory in its thirtieth year.

As though tracing an ancient prophecy

The story takes place in seven kingdoms where peace has lasted for many years. One day the balance suddenly collapses and war erupts, seemingly following an ominous prophecy passed down from ancient times.

Lazarel has been studying abroad at Harba's military academy, while his cousin Teresa has come to Harba to visit him. When their homeland Dunisia goes to war with Harba, they are drawn into the great conflict engulfing the world.

Adventure further than ever

Newly joining from earlier Dragon Quest titles are Torneko, Meena, Carver, Maribel, Ruff and Angelo. Weapons not seen in the preceding Heroes game, including an abacus and tarot cards, produce bold, exhilarating action.

Set out once more alongside companions you may have traveled with before. Thirty years of Dragon Quest memories return vividly to life.

Enhanced systems and additional content

Exhilarating battles against overwhelming enemy forces and a story featuring returning series characters accompany substantial system improvements, including cross-play, cross-save and multiplayer for up to four people. The Japanese product details list one player, or up to four during network play.

The original product description also announces free additional content: extra stories, battles against stronger enemies and multiplayer competitions.
