Save a square Earth that has shattered into pieces!

A new battlefield joins the Earth Defense Force series. Its setting is, astonishingly, a square Earth: a parallel world made entirely of digital voxels, or cubes.

In this world, even the normally round Earth is naturally square. But disaster strikes when this peaceful square Earth breaks apart.

Whether round or square, Earth is still Earth. To restore the peaceful square planet, our EDF crosses world lines and deploys on an emergency mission.

Earth Defense Force in a voxel world

The EDF series boldly moves from its previous photorealistic worlds into a voxel world.

People who literally recoil at gigantic, realistic insects or find some violent imagery difficult can now enjoy the exhilarating EDF experience of defeating hordes of enormous enemies.

Create your own EDF unit

EDF members are fighting alone in countries across the shattered world. Rescue and gather them to build your own Earth Defense Force.

For each mission, form a team of four from the members you have collected. Switch between them and use their individual special abilities to overcome a variety of combat situations.

Classes from throughout EDF history assemble as characters

Classes from The Earth Defense Force through Earth Defense Force 5, the latest numbered entry when World Brothers originally launched, as well as the spin-off games, return as voxel EDF members.

The game includes many soldiers, weapons and military machines familiar from earlier entries. Enemy characters from past games also join the battle.

These voxel-designed enemies still appear with a true sense of enormous scale.

Veterans can enjoy the nostalgia, while newcomers can use the game as an introduction to the series' history, making it enjoyable for a wide range of players.
