Space Battleship Yamato Anime

After the costly battle against the White Comet, Yamato completes its repairs on Earth. At Hero’s Hill, beneath Captain Okita’s memorial, the surviving crew renews its promise to protect peace in space. With new recruits aboard, including 54 graduates of the Cosmo Tiger flight programme, the ship sets out on a test voyage. Elsewhere, Dessler heads toward Gamilas as he works to rebuild his empire.

The New Voyage joins the EMOTION Big Jacket Collection in a 32 cm square package. The approximately 95-minute feature is presented in its 4:3 frame, with around 23 minutes of additional material. Supplements preserve unreleased cuts as still images and include selected original artwork relating to Sasha’s appearance.

The single Blu-ray carries Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio mono sound and no subtitles.
