Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Animation

A new legend begins in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. The popular television anime, which began its Saturday-morning run on TV Tokyo affiliates on October 3, 2020 at 9:30, continues on Blu-ray with twelve more episodes in Volume 3. Follow the next stage of Dai and his companions’ adventure.

Long ago, a swordsman known as the Hero and his companions restored peace to a world tormented by the Dark Lord Hadlar. Years later, the monsters freed from his rule live on Delmurin Island, an isolated island in the southern seas. Dai, its only human inhabitant, dreams of becoming a hero and lives peacefully among them. Hadlar’s return changes everything. A promise to his mentor, encounters with new companions and an inescapable destiny lead Dai to begin his adventure, striving to become a hero and save a world once again threatened by disaster.

Volume 3 includes episodes 26–37 and a sleeve newly illustrated especially for the Blu-ray, together with an original guide booklet. Supplementary features comprise the clean opening and ending introduced from episode 26 and the first part of a special interview with Mikako Komatsu, the voice of Maam, and Yuki Kaji, the voice of Hyunckel.
