Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Animation

A new Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai legend unfolds in the television anime that began airing on the TV Tokyo network on October 3, 2020. Volume 8 continues Dai and his companions’ adventure with thirteen episodes, from 88 to 100.

Long ago, a swordsman known as the Hero and his companions restored peace to a world tormented by the Demon King Hadlar. Time passed. On the isolated southern island of Dermline, monsters freed from the Demon King’s influence lived peacefully. The island’s only human, a boy named Dai who admired heroes, shared that quiet life with them.

Hadlar’s resurrection changes everything. A promise to his teacher, encounters with companions and an inescapable destiny set Dai on his path. To save a world threatened once again, the boy’s adventure toward becoming a Hero begins.

This release includes creditless opening and ending sequences and the latter part of a special interview with Atsumi Tanezaki, the voice of Dai, and Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Avan. A newly illustrated sleeve created for the Blu-ray and an original guide booklet are included as permanent features.
