HIGH CARD Animation

That power drives fate astray. That card decides destiny. The eagerly awaited second season of High Card returns with a stylish, humorous depiction of Finn and his companions in the group tasked with recovering fifty-two X-Playing Cards, each capable of granting particular people extraordinary powers.

"He was the one who took my family!" High Card, a spy organisation serving directly under the royal family, has been ordered to recover cards scattered across the country. Its member Finn has only fragments of memory from his past: a blazing house, his dead family and a knight clad in black armour.

Why did the knight take his family’s lives? To discover the truth, Finn continues High Card’s work alongside his partner Chris, leader Leo, Wendy and Vijay. When the Black Knight appears before him again, the wheels of fate begin turning in earnest.

The conflict with the Klondike family, Fourland’s most powerful mafia organisation, also intensifies. High Card must recover the cards before the royal coronation, but the team now faces the greatest crisis in its history.

Tragedy and encounters arise from the long-standing connection between Pinochle’s chief executive Theodore and Klondike boss Ban. Companions are scattered, a new family emerges, and the secret origins of the cards and a legendary magician remain hidden behind a veil.

Whether to protect the world’s order or plunge it into chaos lies in the players’ hands. The X-Playing Cards grant their chosen holders extraordinary powers beyond human understanding, and another frenzied contest begins as the players stake everything. Are you ready? It is a showdown for the truth!
