Nintama Rantaro Stage & Musicals

Nintama Rantaro’s Together with the Third Years! Always Together! stage production comes to Blu-ray. In Japan’s Sengoku period, Rantaro, Kirimaru and Shinbei enjoy lively days at the Ninjutsu Academy. They see their seniors gathering for a review meeting, receive help with difficult homework from a cheerful older student, and hear about someone being sent away after trying to enter the academy disguised as a living creature.

Even a simple errand calls for advance preparation. There are directionally challenged seniors who cannot find the dining hall, and another senior being recruited by the Dokutake ninja. Someone tries to put living creatures out of mind and enjoy the day, while a teacher is asked to help with a babysitting job. Others organise special training for two students who keep getting lost, or take on the responsibility, perhaps, of looking after them.

Despite the commotion, the apprentice ninja’s school days remain bright, cheerful and full of fun. This comedy-packed omnibus keeps the world of the anime intact while adding episodes that can only happen on stage. Get ready for an adventure!

The two-disc release includes the stage performance, making-of footage and a booklet.
