The second entry in the Mysterious series invites you to travel through a new world and write your own story.

Firis has a modest dream: to walk freely through the outside world. After discovering alchemy and gaining the opportunity to leave her town, she is drawn into a mysterious journey that seems to stretch on forever.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey returns on modern hardware with new content.

New vehicles, exploration tools and quests make the journey deeper and faster. Many DLC items released for the original version are also included, bringing these additions together in an affordable deluxe edition.

New vehicles, exploration tools and quests

Four new vehicles and exploration tools become available as you progress through the story. Each has its own characteristics, such as reducing stamina consumption, automatically gathering materials or providing faster movement, making exploration more convenient.

New quests ask you to defeat seven monsters troubling the powerful boss Palmyra. Once you defeat all seven, you can challenge an even stronger version of Palmyra.

The four new vehicles and exploration tools improve both efficiency and speed, while the seven new monster-hunting quests lead to an enhanced boss encounter.

Additional DX features

The DX editions introduce a photo mode.

Faster battle speeds make combat more comfortable.

Many DLC items released for the original version are included.

Characters

Firis Mistlud — voiced by Kaede Hondo

A gentle, quiet girl who earns her living mining ore in an underground mining town sealed off from the outside world. Having never left her town, she longs to see the world beyond it. When she learns about alchemy, she begins traveling through that vast world.

Liane Mistlud — voiced by Azusa Sato

Firis's older sister, who lives in the mining town. An excellent hunter, she is one of the few people able to leave the town. Her deep affection for her younger sister is well known among the townspeople. She understands Firis's wish to leave and secretly feels pained by her sister's situation.

Ilmeria von Leinweber — voiced by Sayaka Kaneko

A young alchemist who does not hesitate to call herself a genius. Fundamentally straightforward, diligent and hardworking, she also has a childish personality and hates to lose. She and Firis are rivals as they both strive to become accomplished alchemists.

Revy Berger — voiced by Junta Terashima

A wandering swordsman who travels simply to become stronger, searching for weapons and tools lying hidden in different regions. Although he is basically serious, he often seems to take unexpected actions and can be a little absentminded.
