New content for Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings returns on modern hardware with new content.

A new painting world introduces a new scenario and its own dedicated boss. Many DLC items released for the original version are also included, bringing these additions together in an affordable deluxe edition.

Enter the world of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists

A new painting leads to the world of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World, originally released in January 2019.

Within this painting, a new scenario and boss battles unfold as you help the local ruler Nelke develop her town.

To enter Nelke's world, collect Mysterious Painting Fragments from treasure chests added to the original game's painting worlds.

This additional world recreates Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists, with a new scenario and dedicated boss. Gathering the fragments scattered through the painting worlds unlocks access to Nelke's world.

Additional DX features

The DX editions introduce a photo mode.

Faster battle speeds make combat more comfortable.

Many DLC items released for the original version are included.

Characters

Lydie Malen — voiced by Maria Naganawa

The older of the twins running an atelier that struggles to attract business. She is calm, kind and easy to get along with, although she can be a little airheaded and likes to move at her own pace. She is good at studying but poor at exercise, and has a distinctive artistic sensibility.

Suelle Malen — voiced by Hikaru Akao

The younger of the twins running an atelier that struggles to attract business. A cheerful tomboy, she also has a mischievous side. Naturally talented, she tends to approach things without worrying about the finer details. She is terrified of insects.

Mathias Ferrier Adalet — voiced by Yuki Inoue

A man often seen strolling through Merveille. Although his personality seems frivolous and playful, he is serious at heart and becomes Lydie and Suelle's protector. He belongs to a knightly order and is skilled with a sword.

Alt — voiced by Takuma Nagatsuka

An androgynous young man who quietly runs an atelier in Merveille. His alchemical abilities are exceptionally high, and his atelier ranks among the best in the capital. Cool and sharp-tongued, he has an aloof air that keeps other people at a distance.
