The heyday of battle arrives

Street Fighter V continued to evolve after release with additional characters and other downloadable content. Arcade Edition adds an Arcade Mode and numerous functions, presenting the game with a new look.

Arcade Mode

The new mode gives Arcade Edition its name. In this single-player mode, battle against CPU opponents and progress through six routes spanning the series from the first Street Fighter to Street Fighter V.

V-Trigger II: deeper tactics

Every character gains a second V-Trigger.

A V-Trigger is a character-specific special effect activated by using the entire V-Gauge. Triggering it can rapidly change the flow of battle.

Before a match, choose between V-Trigger I and II. This expands each character's battle styles and allows players to enjoy deeper tactics.

Renewed interface and presentation

The design and presentation of the game screen are extensively renewed.

Character selection, battle displays and other interface elements are refreshed, with a lavish colour scheme based on gold and black.

Presentation inspired by the esports tournaments growing in popularity at the time appears throughout the game.
