Mask of Deception returns as AQUAPRICE2800

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception was reissued at a more accessible launch price in the AQUAPRICE2800 range.

It is the second entry in the Utawarerumono series, following Prelude to the Fallen, released in 2006.

The story takes place in the same world as the preceding game, but a completely renewed cast, including the protagonist and heroine, unfolds a new tale.

The character designs are by Tatsuki Amazuyu, who handled the preceding game's character designs and original artwork, and Misato Mitsumi, known for work on ToHeart2 and the Dungeon Travelers series.

The story progresses through adventure sections. When combat occurs, the game switches to simulation RPG sections.

The person who saved my life was a beautiful girl with beast-like ears and a tail...
