A completely new RPG begins within the Valkyria project. In the year 1853 of the Holy Calendar, five young people led a war against an empire possessing the Valkyria, a supernatural being called a god of death, and became heroes who saved their country.

After the war, however, they were executed as great criminals who had deceived their nation and led it into conflict out of a personal desire for revenge. Later history asks: were they heroes or criminals?

A distinguished creative staff and cast vividly depict this substantial story through the tactical LeGION battle system and the painterly GOUACHE graphics, while retaining the feel of a traditional RPG.

Human drama seen from multiple perspectives

It is an age of imperialism after the industrial revolution known as the Azure Revolution. The Ruzi Empire is a major power with overwhelming military strength and the supernatural Valkyria feared as a god of death.

Five young people quickly resort to war to defeat the empire’s colonial ambitions and save their homeland of Jutland. Yet they are executed for deceiving their country out of a personal grudge. Against the flames of war, a story of revenge unfolds, leaving history to judge them.

Tactical battles in a traditional RPG

The LeGION system lets you experience the battlefield, with tactical encounters against large armies while preserving the feel of a regular RPG. Lead and coordinate your unit, mastering actions involving swords, guns and the magical power of alchemy to dominate the battlefield.

Detailed, vivid GOUACHE graphics

The GOUACHE graphics technique was developed specifically for this game. Its distinctive use of color creates a detailed and vivid painterly style that enriches both the intense battles and the story.

A distinguished cast and creative staff

The voice cast includes Daisuke Ono, Saori Hayami, Kenichi Suzumura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Miyuki Sawashiro, Maaya Sakamoto and Tsutomu Isobe.
