Space Battleship Yamato Nippon Columbia Anime Music

Yamato Sound Almanac brings together the music of Space Battleship Yamato, from the first television series in 1974 through the theatrical film Final Yamato in 1983. The series follows the recordings chronologically, combining reissues of the original albums with background-music collections that also include previously unpublished material, with some exceptions. Launched in July 2012, the thirty-title project was scheduled across two years with releases every other month.

The third release group revisits the music for the 1979 television special The New Voyage and the two music collections for the 1980 theatrical film Be Forever Yamato.

This album collects the music of Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage.
