Kamen Rider Movies

To celebrate Kamen Rider's fiftieth anniversary, Kamen Rider The Movie arrives in a 4K remaster box! The series transforms into its highest image quality yet.

The box contains eight theatrical films spanning the franchise's origins with Kamen Rider No. 1 through Kamen Rider Black. The latest 4K HDR technology revives them in the highest image quality in Kamen Rider's history. The original 35 mm negatives were remastered using professional high-resolution 4K scans. The results are so clear that they seem to remove a veil from the original images.

With more than twice the resolution of conventional high definition, Rider masks and explosions return with richer expression. Previously dark areas appear clearly, giving greater depth to the images. Monster details and the scenery of the era can be enjoyed more vividly than ever.

The first programme disc contains Kamen Rider vs. Shocker, released in March 1972; Kamen Rider vs. Ambassador Hell, released in July 1972; Kamen Rider V 3 vs. Destron Mutants, released in July 1973; and Five Riders vs. King Dark, released in July 1974.

The second programme disc contains Kamen Rider: Eight Riders vs. Galaxy King, released in March 1980; Kamen Rider Super-1, released in March 1981; Kamen Rider Black: Hurry to Onigashima!, released in March 1988; and Kamen Rider Black: Terrifying! The Phantom House of Devil Pass, released in July 1988.

The four-disc set presents the films on two 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays and two Blu-rays. The films run 270 minutes. Extras include trailers and the Kamen Rider Film Archive Special Night stage greeting, held at Marunouchi Toei 1 on July 19, 2021, with Hiroshi Fujioka as Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider No. 1, Takeshi Sasaki as Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider No. 2 and Hiroshi Miyauchi as Shiro Kazami/Kamen Rider V 3. A booklet accompanied original first-press copies; its inclusion depends on the supplied copy and is not guaranteed. Product specifications may change.
