Lupin III The Hemingway Papers Blu-ray

Lupin III The Hemingway Papers Blu-ray takes the master thief to a Mediterranean island in search of a manuscript said to reveal the location of an immense treasure. Stories about the Hemingway Papers have circulated among thieves for years, and Lupin arrives alone on Colcaca Island to follow the latest clue.

His friends have already reached the island under very different circumstances. Jigen and Goemon are working as bodyguards for the opposing forces of Consano and Carlos, each for reasons of his own. Their unexpected reunion should give Lupin the perfect team for the hunt, but their conflicting commitments make his proposal to search together far from straightforward.

Directed by Osamu Dezaki and written by Hiroshi Kashiwabara, the special places the familiar trio on different sides of an armed conflict while a tantalising literary mystery links their paths. Yasuo Yamada, Kiyoshi Kobayashi and Makio Inoue voice Lupin, Jigen and Goemon, with Eiko Masuyama and Goro Naya returning as Fujiko and Zenigata. Yuko Sasaki voices Maria, and Yuji Ohno provides the music.

This individual VAP release contains approximately 92 minutes on one region-free Blu-ray, with 4:3 1080p video and Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio. There are no subtitles. The recorded content matches the version previously included in the 2010 television-special Blu-ray collection.
