Lupin III Voyage to Danger Blu-ray

Lupin III Voyage to Danger Blu-ray puts the master thief on an unlikely mission with Inspector Zenigata. Removed from the Lupin investigation, the inspector drowns his sorrows with the very criminals he used to chase. His new assignment, infiltrating the arms-dealing organisation Shot Shell, gives Lupin an opportunity to go after its money.

Lupin's crew steals the Russian nuclear submarine Ivanov and turns to Karen, a nuclear physicist targeted by Shot Shell, to operate it. Her connection to the group is far more complicated than they realise: she regards Jigen as the man responsible for her father's death. That unresolved history creates tension aboard the stolen submarine just as another threat closes in.

Zenigata's replacement, the highly skilled former mercenary Keith, has begun his pursuit. Directed by Masaaki Osumi and written by Hiroshi Kashiwabara, the special combines an arms-trafficking plot with the personal danger facing Jigen. Yasuo Yamada voices Lupin, with Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Jigen, Atsuko Tanaka as Karen and Unsho Ishizuka as Keith. Yuji Ohno supplies the music.

This single-disc VAP edition runs approximately 91 minutes and presents 4:3 1080p video with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio. The Blu-ray is region-free and includes no subtitles. Its recorded content is the same as the version included in the 2010 television-special Blu-ray collection.
