When the underground realm of Infershia invades the surface, the five Ozu siblings receive magical powers from the Heavenly Saints and become the Magirangers. Their courage becomes the source of their magic as they learn to work together and protect the human world. This fantasy adventure is the 29th Super Sentai television series, originally broadcast from February 2005 to February 2006.

Collection 1 contains episodes 1–16, with a main-programme running time of 396 minutes. Disc 1 covers episodes 1–7, disc 2 covers episodes 8–14, and disc 3 contains episodes 15–16 and the bonus programme. Extras include the special premiere presentation, credit-free opening and ending sequences, a dance video for "Jumon Korin: Magical Force," Magical Talk volumes 1–4, Teruko's Room volumes 1–4, a selection of entertainment segments and a collection of promotional footage.

The cast includes Atsushi Hashimoto, Hiroya Matsumoto, Asami Kai, Ayumi Beppu, Yuki Ito, Chiaki Horan, Tomomi Kitagami, Kaoru Hirata, Meibi Yamanouchi, Tsutomu Isobe and Azusa Watanabe. The main programme has been upconverted from standard-definition materials for this 4:3 Blu-ray presentation; the archival bonus footage remains in standard definition.
