Two years after their battle with the Kibaoni army, the six Ninningers return to the dojo to remember Yoshitaka. A clash with surviving enemies reveals how much Fuka and Kasumi have changed: they have been protecting the peace as the popular idol-ninja duo Ninnin Girls.

Takaharu and Fuka's mother, Sakurako, arrives with another surprise. She is producing the group and wants to take it worldwide, challenging Takaharu, Yakumo, Nagi and Kinji to a contest for the Igasaki school name. New member Luna Kokonoe receives the MidoNinger Shuriken, and Tsumuji joins the girls to make it four against four. Meanwhile, the revived Ariake no Kata plots to resurrect Mangetsu and exploit the competition to divide the team.

This 55-minute sequel introduces a family member absent from the television series and brings the returning heroes into a different kind of rivalry. The single-disc Blu-ray includes making-of footage, the creditless ending, promotional clips, poster visuals and an audio commentary.
