Sword Art Online Bandai Namco Entertainment

A story of souls, passion—and life

An RPG bringing together the Sword Art Online game series finally arrives, with the largest number of characters and scenarios in its history!

An original story based on the novels and anime unfolds in Underworld, a virtual world whose end is drawing near.

Just before the final war engulfs the two worlds and all of Underworld, a mysterious young Dark Knight appears before Kirito and his companions. Claiming to be an emissary of mediation, will she bring disaster or salvation?

What if Kirito were there amid a tragic fate that should never be changeable? What if Eugeo were there?

A story of life that no one knows begins, overturning the tragedy awaiting them in the novels and anime through developments that can only be seen in this game.

The MMO-like experience remains, while battles become even faster and more stylish! Enjoy a variety of weapons and cooperation with distinctive companions.

Master different characters and techniques, work together with your allies and defeat powerful foes through stylish, fast-paced action like the anime itself.

An entirely original story seeking to avert a war between worlds

To avoid the War of Underworld, Kirito sets foot in the unknown Dark Territory.

What awaits him in this harsh land governed by the Law of Power?

In this completely new story, the player overturns the tragic fate of war that occurred in the novels and anime with their own hands.

As one world approaches its end, how will Kirito and his companions resist?

Explore the mysterious Dark Territory, where the strong prey on the weak

The Volfhorn Drylands are an arid region spreading near the ogres' stronghold. Ruins stand beside the remains of an enormous creature, but entry is forbidden.

The Prerud Mycelium Forest is filled with giant trees overtaken by fungal mycelium. Magical beasts known as divine beasts are said to have once lived there.

The Tecturn Mountains are a vast area of ruins near the giants' stronghold. Gravity anomalies cause frequent earthquakes, and faults can be seen throughout the region.

The Trading Town serves as a forward base for invading the Human Realm. A variety of races stay there and interact.

The largest character roster in the series

Familiar characters such as Kirito and Asuna are joined by game-original characters, including the mysterious Dark Knight Dorothy!

The total playable roster numbers more than forty characters.

What if characters absent from the novels and anime had been present when Underworld faced its crisis?

Their intertwining destinies change the supposedly unavoidable tragedy in unexpected ways.

Fast-paced battles with diverse weapons and cooperation

The tricky scythe joins the selection, bringing the number of weapon types the player can equip to ten.

Use varied combinations with heroines and partners to defeat the powerful enemies blocking your path!

Create your own battle style

Your tactics change freely according to the weapons and companions you choose.

Finish Arts, special techniques capable of inflicting massive damage, also change according to your weapons and allies.

Race through the virtual world with a battle style that is yours alone.

Simple controls and swift combat

Even players who struggle with action games can easily connect combos with a single button.

Anyone can experience stylish battles worthy of the anime.

A growing sense of fighting together

Players can customise their companions' actions and thinking.

Advanced cooperation, such as attacks and defence with coordinated timing, changes the course of battle.

Your companions evolve to match you.
