Sakamoto Days Animation

The man feared by every villain and admired by every assassin falls in love one day. When Sakamoto falls for Aoi, who works in a convenience store, he readily gives up his life as a hitman. Marriage and the birth of a daughter follow. Now running a small shop in a peaceful town, he has grown so much heavier that he barely resembles his former self.

To protect the quiet everyday life he shares with his beloved family, the former legendary assassin must face the attackers who come after him, one after another. Ordinary life collides with the extraordinary in this new action story.

Sakamoto’s former junior colleague Shin then appears at the shop, interrupting a life that seems ordinary but is anything but ordinary.

Volume 1 contains the first three episodes. Supplements include the creditless opening and ending, the teaser and main promotional videos, and an episode-one audio commentary with Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Taro Sakamoto, and animation producer Genki Ito.
