Sakamoto Days Animation

Once feared by every villain and admired by every assassin, Sakamoto fell in love at first sight with Aoi, a convenience-store worker, and readily left his life as a hitman behind. Marriage, the birth of a daughter and running a small shop in a peaceful town have changed him beyond recognition—he has put on rather a lot of weight. To protect his family’s quiet everyday life, the former legendary assassin must face the attackers who keep coming his way. An ordinary yet extraordinary action story begins.

The second part of Sakamoto Days comes to Blu-ray, with volume 4 containing episodes 12–14. Wutang tells Sakamoto and his friends that X, also known as Slur, has broken some of the most dangerous death-row prisoners out of prison. They begin gathering information on their enemies. Meanwhile, ORDER also moves into action to eliminate the escaped prisoners.

Episode 12 includes an audio commentary with Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Taro Sakamoto, and director Masaki Watanabe. Video extras include the opening movie with its credits, the creditless ending, and both main promotional videos for the second part.
