Sakamoto Days Animation

The man feared by every villain and admired by every assassin falls in love one day. When Sakamoto falls for Aoi, who works in a convenience store, he readily gives up his life as a hitman. Marriage and the birth of a daughter follow. Now running a small shop in a peaceful town, he has grown so much heavier that he barely resembles his former self.

To protect the quiet everyday life he shares with his beloved family, the former legendary assassin must face the attackers who come after him, one after another. Ordinary life collides with the extraordinary in this new action story.

In the episodes collected here, Sakamoto and Shin fight their way through successive assassins inside the secret research facility known as LABO to rescue Lu. Meanwhile, Lu, imprisoned in an underground cell, meets Asakura, a man who knows Shin from his childhood.

Volume 3 collects episodes eight to eleven. The extras include an audio commentary for episode eleven with Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Taro Sakamoto, and Ayane Sakura, the voice of Lu Shaotang.
