Sakamoto Days Animation

The second part of Sakamoto Days comes to Blu-ray, with episodes 19–22. Once feared by every villain and admired by every assassin, Taro Sakamoto fell in love at first sight with Aoi, a convenience-store worker, and promptly retired from the killing business. After marriage and the birth of his daughter, he now runs a small shop in a peaceful town and has gained so much weight that he barely resembles his former self.

To protect his quiet everyday life with the family he loves, the former legendary hitman takes on the assassins who keep coming after him. Ordinary life and the extraordinary collide in this new action story.

As the third test begins, three recommended candidates, Kaji, Toramaru and Nao, join the group amid an uneasy atmosphere. Toramaru, a devoted Sakamoto fan, goes on the offensive from the outset and clashes with Shin and his companions.

Episode 22 includes an audio commentary with Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Taro Sakamoto, and Natsuki Hanae, the voice of Nagumo.
