Sakamoto Days Animation

The man feared by every villain and admired by every assassin falls in love one day. When Sakamoto falls for Aoi, who works in a convenience store, he readily gives up his life as a hitman. Marriage and the birth of a daughter follow. Now running a small shop in a peaceful town, he has grown so much heavier that he barely resembles his former self.

To protect the quiet everyday life he shares with his beloved family, the former legendary assassin must face the attackers who come after him, one after another. Ordinary life collides with the extraordinary in this new action story.

In this volume, Sakamoto and his companions try to protect a peaceful day out at an amusement park from assassins chasing the bounty on his head. But the Dondenkai’s formidable fighting duo, Boiled and Obiguro, launch an attack.

Volume 2 collects episodes four to seven. Extras include an audio commentary for episode seven with Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Taro Sakamoto, and Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice of Shin Asakura, plus the episode-seven creditless ending.
