Feel the evolution—the decisive battle of fate finally begins

This third-person 3D action game takes place in the world of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth. Choose the character you wish to play and fight for your side's victory, either alone or working together with allies.

Alongside new scenarios requested by players after the previous game's release, the title introduces many additional elements and improvements to the battle systems and action sections, creating a game for a broad range of players to enjoy.

From chain-attack action to chain-attack action RPG

The game explores the depth of its action further while strengthening its action RPG elements through systems such as skill boards and hack-and-slash progression.

Life at a base that immerses you in the world

At a mansion in Ennakamuy, take the role of Oshtor—Haku—to deepen your relationships with your companions, advance the story and strengthen your characters.

Evolved visual presentation

The adventure sections and cinematic scenes inserted throughout the game improve on the previous title's presentation, becoming more immersive and immediate.

New, fully voiced scenarios

New scenarios, among the features most frequently requested by players after the previous game, have been added with full voice acting. Their structure also gives those who already know the original story something to enjoy.

Battle modes

White Emperor Battles let you experience the main story and the newly added scenarios.

For Expedition Missions, choose the map you want to explore and accept missions that provide EXP, BP and ingredients.

The Tiger's Den is one of the game's deeper progression challenges: a dungeon you explore to gain levels and pursue other goals.

Cooking

Prepare battle meals and improve your recipes using ingredients collected during play. These meals give characters strengthening effects when they deploy on a mission.

Exchange

The exchange allows you to expand your base, unlock expedition maps and perform various other tasks. Spend Virtue Points earned during the game to expand base functions such as domestic administration and music-card settings. You can also spend these points to unlock further expedition maps.

Domestic administration

This useful base function lets you obtain Virtue Points, ingredients and other resources at regular intervals. It can also be upgraded.

Music-card settings

Set music cards obtained during play and elsewhere to choose the background music for your base and missions. The game includes almost every track from the Utawarerumono series, including Utawarerumono: Lost Flag.

Skill boards

Develop characters by improving their skill boards. Alongside raising basic parameters, strengthen chain attacks and increase the equipment-cost allowance for items, steadily making each character more powerful.

Cooperative missions and solo play

The game also supports offline play for one person.

In the online Mugen Enbu mode, players cooperate to complete missions. Take on groups of eight missions collected in a single mission document. Completing each mission unlocks a further mission in which you can challenge a boss.

Premium Edition physical contents

The original Premium Edition includes special packaging, two different acrylic panels and the complete soundtrack. The presence and condition of these physical accessories depend on the individual Used copy.
