Lupin III Napoleon's Dictionary Blu-ray

Lupin III Napoleon's Dictionary Blu-ray turns a classic-car race into a contest for a fortune coveted by the world's leaders. At a G7 meeting in New York, they see the treasure of the Lupin empire, rumoured to be worth 200 billion dollars, as a possible answer to the economic damage caused by the Gulf War.

Meanwhile, Lupin steals a 1908 Packard from New York's Museum of Modern Art and prepares to enter a vintage-car race in Paris. The prize is no ordinary trophy: Napoleon's dictionary contains the information needed to locate the Lupin family's treasure. The race gives Lupin a route to the secret while placing him in the sights of much more powerful competitors.

Yasuo Yamada voices Lupin alongside Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Makio Inoue, Eiko Masuyama and Goro Naya as his familiar companions and pursuer. Keiko Toda, Akio Otsuka and Sho Hayami are among the guest cast. Hiroshi Kashiwabara writes the screenplay, Yuji Ohno provides the music and Osamu Dezaki supervises the production, with staging by Yukio Okazaki and Keitaro Motonaga.

This VAP release contains approximately 91 minutes on one region-free Blu-ray. It presents 4:3 1080p video and Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio, without subtitles. The recorded content is the same as the version included in the 2010 television-special Blu-ray collection.
