Lupin III One Dollar Money Wars Blu-ray

Lupin III One Dollar Money Wars Blu-ray revolves around a seemingly cheap ring and the extraordinary treasure it can reveal. The ring is a clue to the whereabouts of the Lucky Brooch, an object said to make its possessor the ruler of the world. Lupin sets out to claim it, only for it to fall into the hands of Cynthia, president of the Bank of World.

During the struggle for the ring, Cynthia's subordinate Nabikov shoots Lupin through the chest. While Inspector Zenigata is overcome with grief, Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko complete the burial and set out to confront Nabikov in revenge. The search for a powerful treasure becomes a deeply personal conflict for the companions left behind.

Hideki Tonokatsu directs from a screenplay by Hiroshi Kashiwabara, with music by Yuji Ohno. The regular cast of Kanichi Kurita, Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Makio Inoue, Eiko Masuyama and Goro Naya is joined by Mami Koyama as Cynthia, Rica Matsumoto as Sandy and Jouji Nakata as Nabikov.

The region-free Blu-ray contains the 91-minute programme on one dual-layer disc in 4:3 1080p. Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio is accompanied by no subtitles. The disc content is the same as the version previously included in the 2010 TV-special Blu-ray collection.
